Group Therapy

Group Therapy helps by providing support, encouragement, and positive peer influence to promote positive change. Examples of groups you may need are chronic pain management, grief counseling, trauma, depression, anxiety, marital or pre-marital counseling, family dynamics, groups for adolescents dealing with peer pressure, addiction issues, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, gambling, food, internet, gaming, pornography, and others. Groups can be held anywhere and designed to meet any need. We can design a group treatment for specific needs for your, your church, or your organization. Groups can be set up to be short term (8-12 weeks) or ongoing groups to meet regular needs. Groups can be started and transition into peer led groups you and your group maintains. Some just need a little help getting started and organized. Whatever the need, we can help.

We are currently organizing a group specifically targeting chronic pain management. Chronic pain is the number one debilitating condition in the United States and is more costly than any other medical condition. The concept of the mind-body connection is no longer a theoretical concept, but a demonstrated reality. Our emotions can drastically influence our experience of chronic pain, and occasionally whether or not we do experience chronic pain. Every part of our body from our digestive system to our endocrine system, to our nervous system has a significant effect on chronic pain in the body. Our structured 8 week group therapy / training uses several models of therapy and numerous interventions to help alleviate your experience of chronic pain. It is both fast and cost-effective - all without adding any drugs or supplements. Contact us for more information on how this may be for you.
